Well unfortunately this weekend we didn't make it to the dog beach for Hannah. Josh is suffering from food poisoning that he got on his business trip. (He ate clams and oysters on Thursday night and had severe stomach pains Friday, Saturday, Sunday and even still today on Monday).
Fortunately he felt well enough on Sunday to make a quick outing to the park where he could just lay on the quilt we brought and watch Hannah play. I also took my camera and captured a few fun pictures to share...
I thought these first two looked cute as a set... kind of like she lost her ball... and then there she is all happy she found it. :)
This one is neat to me... the bottom of the picture almost looks as though it's a painting... it has a brush stroked look to my eyes for some reason?
I thought this one was pretty too... I only focused on the leaf and the blurred background turned out so pretty. Reminded me of fall... I edited it to change the colors a bit to fit more in that "fall" color scheme...
I can't wait for fall! It has always been my favorite time of year. Maybe because I am an October baby? Halloween and Thanksgiving are two of my favorite events. (Thanksgiving for the yummy food and Halloween for the fun decorations!). I also have a ton of photo shoots planned for Holiday cards this year, so I am excited about that too! The colors of fall are my absolute favorite... so warm and comforting.
I hate to be hot and sweaty and my home office has been unbearable lately. I am soooo looking forward to the change in seasons (however slight it may be in California).

hope your handsome hubby is back to normal by tomorrow sara! your hannah is the sweetest dog I have ever seen! xo chris

I love Fall too Sara, there's something so romantic and nostalgic about it. Maybe even a bid sad. I am always enthralled with your photos - wish I could pick your brain!
Hope hubby is feeling better. :)

I grew up not far from you, and yes, southern Cali, doesnt have much of a 4 season.
But here in Illinois, Fall is devine! The one positive about it here, a real fall.
Thanks again Sara for all the little things you keep doing for me!!
luv ya.

I love fall too. We live in a college town in Colorado so you can imagine how beautiful and how high energy our falls are. I do remember in California that there was just enough change to make it feel like fall a little. I love the picture of Hannah!

I'm an October baby too, and Autumn has always been my favorite season. I wish California had a more colorful Fall, but there's a lot to love about the change of season when it does finally roll around!

Hi Sara, I love the photos and love Fall too! Your work is lovely. May I ask what type of camera you use? Do you use Photoshop for editing? I am buying a new iMac soon and then hope to get a new dSLR and trying to decide if I should go Nikon or Canon. Anyway, thanks for the info!! Terri xo
