Josh and I are hosting Thanksgiving again this year. He will be barbecuing his famous turkey and the rest of the family will be bringing the side dishes. It makes things so much easier that way for all of us!
I will be spending the day with my family and loved ones and Hannah will be showering them all with welcoming kisses. (That is Hannah and I in the photo up there). I hope each and every one of you have a happy holiday with your own friends and family! Happy Turkey Day to YOU!
Today I had a shoot with these two purty girls. Dylan is the older sister and Taylor is the youngest. They are both gorgeous and have the biggest bright blue doe eyes and full pink lips! You can tell these two will be beating boys off with a stick when the time comes!

This lively bunch is the Walters Family. We all met up on Saturday for a shoot at the Tractor Museum. The barnwood and bright colors made for some fun backdrops. These are a few of my favorites:
I have seen more and more photographers doing "trash the dress" sessions with their clients lately and I have been inspired by many of them! My sister Lindsey volunteered to be my model and "trash" her wedding gown for the sake of some beautiful pictures. Luckily, we didn't ruin it... or anything.

Tarzy and her two gorgeous children live in Newport Beach. I met them on Saturday for a family photo shoot and we walked down to the canal that runs behind their home. It's was kind of an impromptu location as we weren't totally sure where we were headed... but I love the way they came out. They have an East Coast "Nantucket" feel to me that goes so well with this family's style. Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot.
Jena contacted me to shoot some photos of her two little girls, Faith and Riley. We met at the park, and I was beyond thrilled with the amazingly photogenic girls, and their adorable clothes! We had so much fun shooting that it was hard for me to pick my favorites to share on the blog today! I mean just look at these two!!!
This gorgeous family was such fun to shoot. The little one is turning one this month and we snapped a few for his birthday invitations. The first photo is the one Kristen chose for her Christmas cards. (Kristen owns a photo card company called "Announcement Shop".) With the holidays just around the corner, I have been doing more and more "family shoots" for holiday cards. These are a few from my friend Tyler's photo session a few weeks ago.
This feast for the eyes was the result of Jane Pollocks creative mind. Her non-profit art sales benefit at-risk youth and adults by providing them with instructor-led art projects. If you haven't already check out her site Art Takes A Village.
Beth Quinn has such a talent for creating beautiful jewelry. I purchased a sweet little necklace from her that I just adore (sorry I didn't take a photo of it). Her display at the soiree was such a treasure trove of sparkle and bling.
